I Have room in my RV for one or two more cool friends who could pick me up in Santa Barbara, right off the 101North Freeway, Saturday the 24th and drive us up to my 40foot delux RV which is in Sacramento right off of I-80 Freeway, which is the main freeway to the Burn! ... either leave your car there in Sacramento and jump in the RV, or drive your own car to Burningman and ill kick you some bucks for the ride-share from Santa Barbie to Sac.....ok?
..... I will be picking up a few lovely goddesses at the Sac Airport Sunday, the 25th at 7pm, then drive twards the Burn, entering with the RV Monday the 27th, since we might be short a few "early-entry" passes.

He can leave anytime between the 3rd-5th but is not dependent on getting a ride out with the same person as he rides in with.

Ride offered : Bay Area Aug 27- Sept 4ish

We're renting a vehicle to get out to the playa and back and have room(how much depending on what exactly we rent).

We'll be camping at 9:30 and esplanade(Red nose district) but we can drop you off wherever. Planning to get in early Monday and leave Tuesday after the exodus madness, although maybe before then if the traffic isn't bad. Maybe hit the hot springs and a hotel on the way home Monday. Looking for people who can make the ride as fun as dawn on Thursday and be ready when they say they'll be ready.

Aug 24-Sept 6 for a road trip
Aug 26-Sept 4 for plane trip
We left right after the man burned last yr, so we'd like to stay for the temple burn this yr if possible.

Need two passengers from the MA/ Southern NH area.

Im looking for two people willing to split gas and tolls to burning man. I plan to leave either the 23rd or the 24th and intend to drive pretty much non stop to reno where i will be stopping for supplies and to caravan with my campmates. Need atleast one person who can confidently drive a standard.

Will be taking my subaru legacy station wagon, plenty of room for stuff, and there is always the roof. I will have a bike rack with room for two more bikes, and i expect to get about 26-30 MPG.

Hello brothers and sisters... I hope everyon's feeling all right.
I desperately need a rideshare into and out of the playa from Reno.

Here is my wack-ass schedule:

• Fly in Mon, Aug. 27th, 10:30 PM (want to get to the playa THAT night!).
• Fly out Tues, Sept. 4th, 12:20 AM (so need to be back in Reno Mon. Sept. 3rd before midnite).

Let me know if you can even just do one way. I won't have much with me; probably just a bag or two (and a fuck-load of good vibrations).
I'm willing to even split a rental with someone who's in the same boat, etc..

bringing my old but well loved '73 dodge caravan motorhome. Leaving from San Gabriel Valley (So. Cal.) area to Playa. Interested in finding cool person/people who might need ride in exchange for.......stuff, like travel expenses or whatever. I'm going either way so giving you a ride is not dependent on material contribution.
What I love about "the Homie" is where ever you go..........there you are. Wanna pull over and crash, your good to go. Break down, bummer but at least you've got the amenities of home.

This will be my tenth burn. I didn't think I was going until recently and I haven't lined up transportation (my motorcycle just isn't up to the job). I don't have much stuff (bicycle, folding cot, a few plastic bins of apparel and food) and if you're very tight on room I can send some of my stuff up with friends. I'm flexible re your return date; I plan to return to SF Monday but if you plan to return sooner or later I can just get a ride with friends. I'll gladly share driving and expenses.

Last Minute Early (8/26) Arrival to bMan Needed! )'(

I am recently joined up to serve shifts on the DMV schedule (starting Saturday night), and my transport to get out there early is still up in the air.

This will be my 7th burn, and I am camping with Peepshow Minigolf out of San Francisco.

My ideal ride would leave from the Bay Area Friday night or very early Saturday morning and get to the playa by around noon on the 26th. Round trip plans are optional. If you want, we could plan for that... but I'll be able to arrange for a ride back if that doesn't work for you.

I have *not too much* stuff to bring. Unless you have a ridiculous amount of space, in which case I can bring a ridiculous amount of stuff. ;)

I'm glad to pay for gas, and am insured to drive anyone's car... That means yours! If you like, we can share the drive.

Oh yeah... It's VERY IMPORTANT that if you offer me a ride, you are also on the EARLY ENTRY list. Wouldn't want you turned away from the gate till Monday after driving me all that way...

Offering a Ride from Reno Airport to BM on 8/28

I am renting a car at the Reno Airport and have room for up to 3 other people. I am leaving Monday August 28th from the Airport to the playa (sometime between 10am-1pm depending on who is coming). I leave the playa for the airport the following Monday, Sept. 4 in the afternoon/evening.
I am asking $65 per person each way, but will accept whatever you can afford. This is just the price that it will cost me per person for rental fees, insurance, and gas. Actually, it costs a bit more, but I will eat the difference. We will make a stop off to pick up water, food, fuel, whatever is needed. Please email or call me if you are interested in joing me up to the playa. I'd like to find people who need a ride there and back, but am totally flexible. I am a 3rd year burner and fire spinner and ready for another year in Black Rock.

We NEED & have RIDE-SHARE room for 2 people going to BRC & 2 people leaving from BRC. Leaving Reno on Wednesday, 23 August, in the evening (between 5:00 and 7:00 P.M.) & returning to Reno late night on Saturady 9 September or early morning on Sunday 10 September, due to volunteerism & MOOP clean-up. We're able to make a supplies trip AFTER we pick you up(water, food, ice, etc) if you need that. We have an SUV, but request minimal packing per person--approx. 2-3 bags each, depending on size. Larger items can be discussed (i.e., water containers). BIKE'S are OK; we'll have a rack (in fact, if someone else has one, that'd be great). Here is the BEST part: WE'LL DO ALL THE DRIVING!! Previously the black rock burner hostel aka Freds home the other 51 weeks of the year has been used as the rideshare project where folks could arrive andcrash for a few days and then get picked up to go to the playa when willing driverspassed through.

This year this is not the case,fred last year had toruble from the man (no, not the fun one in the desert) about his home being so hectic and full of people.

People who need a ride from reno should make their way to twin city surplus store in reno
1675 E. 4th St. And wait there.

if you do not know what burners look like or have no idea how to find a ride, top tip here, a whole bunch of white people pulling up in rented RV's, vans trucks or cars packed with shit like carpet, chairs, long thing piping, tarps etc are probably heading to burning man.

Ask around, make a sign, get comfy, make friends withthe other aspiring playa denizens waiting for a lift.

If getting separated from your travelling companion or you luggage which due to limited space availible in said ride may be a solution be sure and give your playa adress or get theirs, or if you or they are in walk in camping get a designated location where you can meet up and reclaim your belongings/or friend.

If you have space for a passenger or two then please stop by and pick one up.

the burner hostel is not a centre for rides this year so please do not stop by the house here, all rides are to go via twin cities surplus store.

Many of these twin cities refugees will be overseas burners who have come to play here, please goive them as warm a welcome and as much help as i and the rest of the overseas burners have had. others are from across the country travelling solo, sans trasnport just knowing they have to get to BRC, helping someone get to burning man is a bueatiful gift to the community so if you can please help out.

If you do plan on waiting at Twin cities make sure you have water to drink while there, and are ready to go when and if a ride arrives.

Check out www.burningman.com/rideshare to see if you can arrange one online.

Utilise your local burningman regionals mailing list to see if anyone from your home town is driving who canwither accomodate yo or your stuff, many theme cmaps offset their cost of transport by carrying other peoples heavy gear so check that out.

Get online, get organised, get to Twin cities just get your fricking ass to BRC.

Enthusiastic Bionaut is seeking vehicular transport from Northern Colorado (Fort Collins) to Reno by the 1st day of the burn. My person and my non-water gear are what needs to be transported (meeting up with a crew in Reno who is taking care of H20). More than happy to help with gas expenses, bringing music for the ride, tastey snacks, and other forms of ethereal bliss that come with an adventure to the man. Non-dumbasses preffered, will settle for robots behind the wheel if I have to though (Must make it to the man this year!) I'm arriving to Reno form LA Aug.29 mid afternoon and will need a ride out to the
playa..will be shopping for food and H20..should have 2 pieces of bags, groceries
(vegan/vegetarian while on the playa :), and H20 2 5gal. waters

This is both our first time. I am taking my roomate for her birthday but I really need to get a ride locked down ASAP. I am a 22 year old male, she is a 22 year old female. We live in SF and would need room for our gear as well. We were also tossing around the idea of all throwing in to rent a truck or good size car as well. Reno to BRC and back

My girlfriend and I are flying into Reno (from NYC JFK) on Thurs 8/30 at 11:53 AM (Reno time), then flying back on Sun 9/4 at 7:35 PM. We're looking to share rides to and from BRC (probably departing BRC around noon on Sunday), either with people already driving or with people willing to split the rental costs. Anyone?

(And yes, we know we're missing the Temple Burn, so please don't inundate us with replies that tell us about our ignorance of the Temple Burn and how freakin' awesome it is and complaining "Why Aren't You Staying For It?!?!?!", 'cuz some of us work for a living, dammit.)

I'm about to do another mass posting for this forum to get it going. I think as soon as people know this page exists, it could be one of the more purposeful and/or functional BM tribes around.

This is going to be my first time to BRC, and I was lucky enough to score a scholarship ticket. Now I just have to figure out a way out there. I'm living in Dallas right now, and I talked to some people at Burning Flipside this year but they have yet to get back with me. If anyone knows someone or some way to help a fella out with transportation, it would be seriously appreciated (not to mention I can help with gas and the like).
